Our projects:

  • Helping New Orleans recover by bringing displaced citizens home, opening schools, community centers, churches, local business and more - everything from landscaping to painting to building and gutting homes.
  • Continued home rebuilding and assistance with our partners at Lower 9th Ward Village, Crossroads, CANO, ONNO and GNODRP partners.
  • Other bayou and park restoration and beautification projects in the city of New Orleans.

Program Fee Information

There are three options:

Plan A, $225, includes the full experience: Lodging, meals (breakfast, lunch and 2 dinners) KC work experience, airport pick up and job-site transportation, cultural immersion (9th Ward tour, local music venue) and a KC t-shirt.

Plan B, $200, includes lodging, breakfast, lunch and 2 dinners, KC work experience, cultural immersion and the KC t-shirt. (No transportation.)

Plan C, $160, includes lodging and breakfast only. (No transportation, KC work experience, cultural immersion or t-shirt.)

* All Program Fees are prepaid. We are sorry that we cannot offer refunds at this time, but all Program Fees are tax deductible (Katrina Corps is under the umbrella of the non-profit organization Pangaea Quest, which has 501(c)(3) status.)
